People Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a hands-on therapy that focuses on the health and function of the spine and nervous system. The spine and skull support and protect our brain and spinal cord (our nervous system) and the nervous system controls every part of the body – allowing us to move, breathe, eat, digest and function day-to-day.
Chiropractic focuses on removing interference to the messages relayed by our nervous system between the brain and body, allowing us to function with more mobility, ease and efficiency. This message interference is caused by dysfunctional movement in parts of the spine and can occur due to injuries, poor posture, stress and toxins. The less interference there is to the nervous system, the healthier we are in both mind and body.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of a body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Using a soft touch, restrictions in the membranes are released, improving the flow of fluid around the nervous system and allowing for overall increased healing and function of the body.
Craniosacral therapy is effective for a wide range of health problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:
Headaches and Migraine

Orthotics can help reduce pain felt in the feet, ankles, knees, hips and lower back and can be an important part of patient care.
If you have insurance coverage for custom orthotics, the appropriate documentation will be provided for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company.

Animal Chiropractic-
Horses, Dogs, Cats and other furries
Much like human care, animal chiropractic is a gentle and effective manual therapy aimed at correcting dysfunctional movement patterns in the joints and muscles of the body. Spinal mobility issues in animals can interfere with the function and performance of the nervous system and overall health and comfort of the animal. Animal chiropractic is meant to be used as a compliment to your animal’s veterinary care.
Signs your animal may need chiropractic care can be subtle as most animals tend to mask their pain. As such, being attuned to even mild changes in their behaviour is helpful i.e, decreased energy or appetite, sleeping more, aggressive or sad, or perhaps just hasn’t been their usual self.
Signs your dog or cat could benefit from chiropractic care:
Reluctance to get up/lie down, jump up/down or use stairs
Keeping head low or tucking tail under
Difficulty squatting or lifting leg to urinate
Constant scratching or licking of certain area of body (can present as lick granuloma)
Reluctance to wear collars and harnesses
Decreased or changed performance in athlete
Newborn puppy having trouble moving around
Just seems “off”
Sensitivity to touch
Uncharacteristic biting or warning growls
Lameness and limping
Sitting or lying with legs to one side
Muscle atrophy or shrinking/wasting
Weakness
Abnormal gait: includes short-striding, overreaching, side-winding, crabbing, bunny-hopping, pacing, stumbling, splaying of hind legs and head-bobbing
Signs your horse could benefit from chiropractic care:
Avoiding being tacked up or groomed
Reluctance to move forward/poor collection
Reluctance to bend
Difficult lead transfers
Dropping under pressure
Refusing jumps
General stiffness
Asymmetric posture or gait
Change in athletic performance and attitude to work
Muscle atrophy or shrinking/wasting
Poor topline
Roached topline
Being grumpy or “off”
